Bees on a Plane:

Pilot Brian Murphy was getting ready to fly from Burbank's Bob Hope Airport to San Francisco this past may, when his crew interrupted his pre-flight ritual. It seems that a five-foot-wide blanket of bees was draped across one of the plane's engines!

Why would tens of thousands of bees, already gifted with the ability to fly, take refuge in the engine of an airplane?
